The new year always brings a new start and often exciting changes.
I'm thrilled to continue my journey as an expert in finding biological family through DNA research. I've started working professionally as a genealogist, focusing my efforts on helping adoptees and others locate biological parents. This is such interesting and intriguing work and effects so many people. I help provide answers to individuals that have been searching for answers for years. Each case is unique and provides different opportunities. Genetic genealogy research requires not only an understanding of DNA research but also traditional research and I have a solid foundation in both. I have a bachelors degree in family history from BYU and also a masters degree in library science from the University of Maryland. I am thorough, yet efficient and have created a process that provides results for the client. Every project is different and requires different strategies for solving. I am a problem solver.
I will use this blog to highlight some of my research, including tips and techniques that I use. I will provide information on some of the latest tools available and any news stories that I think you all will find relevant.
This research is something that I am extremely passionate about and I want to help people find their answers!
